Debbie,
I found a John McIntyre in the tax lists of Livingston County KY in 1838 and 1840. My Wilkinsons were there during that time along with my 3rd great aunt Mary Wilkinson McEntire and her husband William. There is also a Samuel R. McEntire in 1833, and an Isaac McIntire in 1836 and 1840. My McEntires moved to Gallatin County IL in the early 1840s then on to MO. They were originally from Rutherford County NC.
