I have heard that my Champion D. McEntire is the son of Archibald McEntire Sr. born 1753 in Guilford Co., N. C. but I have not been able to confirm that. CAN YOU HELP?????
My McEntires are: (these I have confirmed)
CHAMPION D. MCENTIRE b. 1806 Rutherford Co., N.C. married
Sarah B. Waters Sept. 1831 in N.C. died 1879
Children were:
ARCHIBALD b. 1846, m. Tempy Casey, D.1926 MCAR.
Oliver John b. 1832 m. Elizabeth died in Salt Lake City
James b. 18374 died 1861 in Mo during the war
Lawson b. 1836 died Meadow Mountain Massacre in Utah
William C. b. 1838 m. Sarah Cash died 1920 Ok
Dulcina b. 1832 m. George Elam died 1902 MCAR
Joseph G. b. 1846 died. 1875 MCAR

Temperance Casey b. 1852 m. 1863 in Marion Co., Ark
Children were: (all born in Marion Co., Ark.
