I might be interested. My mother's maiden name is McIntyre and her father's family settled in Leisenring from Ireland. Here's what I know - maybe we can help each other.

1. John William McIntyre b. 30 December 1916 in Leisenring, Fayette County, PA d. 19 May 1971 in Beaver, Beaver County, PA. He was the son of

2. Patrick John McIntyre b. about 1876, d. after 1940. First marriage was to Anna Burns until her death in the early 1900s. John's mother was Margaret Ellen Grace. Patrick was a mine worker. Family stories have Patrick arriving from Ireland with his parents as a child. I don't have the exact date of Patrick & Margaret's marriage, but a copy of their marriage license leads me to sometime in mid/late April 1914.

3. On that marriage license, Patrick lists his parents as Peter J. McIntyre and Catherine McRonna (or McRanna/McRoma/
etc - writing is difficult to read & copy is light). However, it is possible that Peter & John are the same person or related.

Do you think we can help each other?
