Hi Melanie

Do you know what your Grandfather's father's name was, could it have been Andrew, Hugh or Robert?

Brothers Hugh and Andrew left Ireland in the early 1900's but I know little about them after they arrived in America.

Hugh (born September 1871) moved to America some time before 1904 (possibly from Scotland as early as 1893. In 1904 he was living at Lees Street Philadelphia PA. He later moved to Fee Street.

In 1910 his brother Andrew (born about 1878)left Ireland for America. He lived at Lees Street Philadelphia with Hugh and a few years later moved to Wendell Avenue Detroit where he was joined by his daughter Isabella (known as 'Wee Bella').

After this I know nothing about Hugh Andrew or Wee Bella. Around 1910 a Robert McIntyre originally from Bellaghy, (close to where Andrew and Hugh came from) lived in Huntingdon Street, Philadelphia, which I believe is only a short distance from Fee Street. Although I am convinced that Robert was related to Andrew and Hugh, as yet I have not found a connection.

Does any of this information tie in with what you know about your grandfather's family?
