I am looking for a George Washington McIntire,who shows on the 1880 census in Solano Co.,Ca. as being born abt.1835 in Vermont,with both parents born in Vt. But family stories say he was born in Va. He married Martha Emaline Bodenhamer who was born in Illinois.He came to California before 1863 when his oldest daughter was born.
