McIntyre in Old St. Marks Cemetery, Kenosha, WI
Posted by: Kathleen Evanson Date: January 31, 2002 at 11:51:00

I transcribed the headstones in this cemetery on January 27, 2002. I have no other information on these individuals. The tombstone inscription is shown with the tombstone description following.

There is a large granite marker at the front of the cemetery that reads:

This marker honors veterans of the Armed Forces of the United States whose remains lie in St. Marks Cemetery in graves known only to God.

Hugh McIntyre is listed as a Civil War veteran.

Hopefully this helps. Kathy Evanson
