This may be the John McIntyre who was a twin to my ancestor William James McIntyre, Jr. who was also born in Lauderdale,
County, AL about 1833. Another son was named Jasper N.
The family moved to Tippah County, MS. The parents were William James McIntyre, Sr. and Jane Stewart McIntyre. If my memory serves me.
