The McIntyre's I am researching came to Aust on the Ramillies in 1855 James McIntyre with his wife Matilda (Carey). A son John was born on the voyage. Matilda died early in the marriage and James married a Catherine Smith and had 6 sons. James died in 1885 Sydney aged 54.
James place of birth was Portglennone, County Antrim his father John was a shoemaker and mother Catherine.
