Sheri, The only information I have on James McIntyre was from the 1850 census report from Brandford County, I had traced back that far starting with his Grandson Arthur McIntire. The census listed his age at 37, his wife Orilla (Kinsman) age 30, the children Amelia age 12, Henry age 10, James age 9, Orilla age 5, and Truman age 1, it also stated that he was born in New Hampshire, but on the cemetary records it listed as his being born in Roxberry, Vermont. I don't know which is right, I haven't been able to verify either one. I would also like information on his parents and siblings, if you find anything, please let me know.
