Moira

I was interested to see your mention of a Donald McKinnon in the same message as Stewarts and the parish of Killean.

One of my ancestors was a Donald McKinnon who married Margaret Stewart and had at least eight children between 1777 and 1795. When he died he was a farmer in Laigh (Low) Gortenafaul in Killean.

Also, I too have a Helen Smith from Killean, daughter of John Smith and Margaret McDermid, marrying a John McInnes.

If you would like to know more then please e-mail me direct.

Regards

Sarah
