Andrew Hamilton Mcintire and Vinnie Viola Haines were my great-grandparents on my mother's side. My mom said that Mac and Granny, as they were called, lived in Mt. Hope, WV, and were buried in Oak Hill, WV. Of their children, only Patricia Templeton Mcintire is still living in Circleville, OH (as of July 1999).
My mother says that we have numerous photos of Mac and Granny. Please contact me and we'll see if we can arrange to send you copies.
I also have some questions for you. Were the Mcintires Scottish or Irish? And we believe that one of Granny's parents was either full-blooded or part Cherokee Indian. Can you verify this for us?
