dear jacqueline, iam a descendant of the Philip McIntire line from N.H. and i have a published family history written by Robert harry McIntire... in it i found a Mehitable Mcintire, listed on page 34, whom was born at Reading, Mass,July 6, 1732. Died Burlington, Mass May 18, 1769- whom married Jonathon McIntire, Book says quite possible he was her own brother!!says her mother's name was Deborah. it says the parents of Mehitable were Joseph and Deborah(Russell)
also it seems that one of Mehitables children was also named mehitable she was bornJune 6,1761 and went on to marry Ebenezer Russell.. If this is any help or if i can look further, contact me at aussierock@msn.com -keep searching, kathy.
