Robert,

My Hugh McIntire married Lucy Duncan. I'm afraid that I did not make that connection clear on my previous posting. It appears to me that he named his daughter after his sister Eliza Jane.

On the Henry Co. Mogenweb site is a biography of Hugh Jr.s brother, Daniel C. McIntire, as well as a biography of Daniel's son, Omer.
