Patrick BERRY, probably born in Ireland, married Margaret Jane HENRETTY, daughter of Owen HANRATTY and Ann KEENAN, born about 1841 in New York.
Patrick and Margaret initially settled in Conneautville, Crawford County, PA. They baptized at least one of their children in St. Brigid's Roman Catholic Church in Meadville, PA. They probably had six children, five boys and one girl:

1) Michael John BERRY, born 1868 Conneaut, OH/PA, died 1932 Corry, PA married Mary Ann WARD, born 1872 Corry, PA, died 1946 Corry, PA. Both Michael and Mary are buried in St. Thomas Cemetery in Corry, PA. --> seven children: Margaret, Edward, (twin son), Mabel, Marion, John (Jack), and Helen
Michael and Mary started out in Oil City, Venango County, PA, then moved to Warren, Warren County, PA around 1909. They finally settled in Corry, Erie County, PA around 1913. Michael BERRY was an engineer for the Pennsylvania Railroad. Michael's niece Theresa BERRY lived with them for a time, as she and her brothers were in an orphanage. Theresa later married Edward McINTYRE, a policeman from Chicago, Illinois. Mary's niece Mabel ZILCH also lived with them for a time. Mabel never married. Michael's obituary mentions a Charles BERRY of Oil City, who might have been Michael's brother? In 1902, Michael BERRY bought cemetery plots in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Meadville, Crawford County, PA and in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Oil City, Venango County, PA, but both Michael and his wife are buried in St. Thomas Cemetery, Corry, Erie County, PA.

(son) BERRY had at least three children, as the family remembers that Theresa BERRY and her brothers were in an orphanage as children. Theresa BERRY was born 1894 and died 1983 in Illinois. She married Edward McINTYRE, a policeman from Chicago, IL. In her younger years, Theresa spent some time living with her aunt and uncle, Michael and Mary BERRY in Corry, PA. She worked for the Nubone Corset Company. Ed McINTIRE was shot in the head during a robbery in Chicago, and never worked in the police force again.

(son) BERRY had at least one daughter, Bernadette BERRY. Bernadette BERRY was born 1920 and died 1994 in Warren, PA. She married a man named SHULTZ and they lived in Warren. She visited Marion Berry HOUSER, daughter of Michael and Mary BERRY, in Corry one time with her children: John, Jane and Charmaine SHULTZ, to watch the parade. Charmaine might have been either deaf or blind. Bernadette SCHULTZ worked in a department store in Warren, PA.
