My mother's given name was Betty Lou McIntire born March 18, 1922 to Frank and Edith McIntire of Leavenworth County, KS. She had 5 brothers Robert, Eugene, Richard, Frank Jr., and Dale. I am trying to confirm my grandfather's relationship to U.S. Grant. The family farm house burned down several years ago and lost were several letters from Lincoln to Grant. I'm told that my grandparents sold one of these letter's to get through the depression. Any genological would be appreciated.
