William McIntire (or McIntyre) Texas
Posted by: David J. Dill Date: January 15, 2000 at 11:47:08
  of 1173

Fought in the battle of San Jacinto April 21, 1836.
In July, 1841, William married Margaret Anglin and they had three children, Samuel, William, Jr. And Robert. Robert McIntire was killed by indians. William McIntire died at LaGrange, Texas on July 25, 1849 and the widow McIntire and her now 2 sons moved to Salt Lake, Utah Territory. While in Utah the value of their father’s and husbands land became considerable and the Widow McIntire married and later divorced John M. Moody.

I am of no know relation but I own some of the land once owned by this Texas Hero and would share information with anyone interested.
