Mackinder as a variant of McIntyre
Posted by: Abbie Stahlin Date: November 26, 1999 at 08:03:58

Does anyone out there think that Mackinder (note the lack of capital letters after the "Mac") may be a variant of MacIntyre? I have nine generations of Mackinders, including my small son. The first three generations were apparently born in England: Thomas> James b1795> James b1822> Clark b1854 in Michigan. Anyone have a clue. . . ?
