Here is what I have so far: Harrison McIntire born abt 1790 in Virginia (taken from 1850 census) Spouse unknown children: Elijah Thomas born abt. 1823 Kentucky In the 1840 Spencer County KY census, there is an H. McIntire with the following: 2 males age 15-20 and 1 male age 50-60. 1 female 10-15, 1 female 15-20, 1 female 20-30, and 1 female 50-60 (wife?). Elijah would be abt 17 and Mildred would be abt 15. Don't know who the other siblings are. I found the following in the library in "Spencer County, Kentucky Marriages and Vital Statistics" 1 March 1847 Elijah Thomas McIntire marries Susan Catherine Huffman, dau. of Joseph Huffman; bond: Fielding Dale 2 March 1847 Mildred F. McIntire marries Fielding Dale; bond: Elijah T. McIntire 27 March 1852 death of Mildred Dale, age 27, daughter of Harrison McIntire 1 April 1852 death of Susan McIntire, age 22, daughter of Joseph Huffman 1 February 1855 Elijah Thomas McIntire, age 32, widower of Spencer County, Plum Creek marries Virginia D. Bennett, age 20, of Elk Creek I found Elijah in the Spencer County, KY census 1850 age 27, with Susan age 20, and Joseph, age 2 I found Fielding Dale in Spencer County, KY census 1850 age 32, with Frances (Mildred F.) age 24, and Harry age 60 The next thing I have is a notice that Elijah McIntire served in the Missouri Home Guard from April 1862 to April 1864 in Bolivar, Polk County, MO. I don't know when they moved. He is still in Spencer County at his marriage in 1855 and his son Edward Bennett McIntire is born in 1856 in Kentucky. I next find them in the Jackson County Missouri 1880 census: Edward (age 24) is listed also with wife Edmonia Spottswood Hines, age 19 (daughter of Edmund Hines and Elizabeth Kritsen) Carol
