The McIntyres that I was referring to settled in Montgomery County. I'm nit exactly sure of what towns, but StJohnsville seems to come to mind. They came from Scotland in the early 1800's.
I believe there were also some in Washington County, Argylle comes to mind.
I stopped tracing these lines, when I discovered information that led bac to Springfield, MA and further back to Ireland.
There was some indication that this family came from Scotland to Ireland, then to US.
