Sorry, but I can't find a connection. Ely McIntyre was born in Feeding Hills (near West Springfield) Mass. He served in the Revolution as a private and as a drummer. He came to NY State before 1796,. He settled first in Duanesburgh, NY. Then, before the 1800 census, moved to Delhi, Delaware County, NY. His father was Jesse, who also was in the Revolutionary War.

There are a lot of different McIntyre/McIntire families, especially in the Mohawk River Valley.
