I have been trying to find out more information on my gg-grandfathers ancestors - his father, mother, siblings and have hit a brick wall. His name was Robrt B McIntire/McIntyre, b. abt 1844 in Fleming, KY, d. 11 Feb 1864, m. 9 Sep 1862 and was in the Civil War, Union side, 6th Kentucky Regiment. He married Evaline Calmes, daughter of George Calmes and Esther Caldwell (Elisabeth Colwell). They had one daughtre, Miriam McIntire. Evaline Calmes' b. was 8/1/1834 and died 7/2/1914,Lee County, KY. Evaline Lived in and around the "Old Landing" area of Lee County, death certificate says Heidleberg, KY. If anyone has information on these people, I may be contacted at gliv@bellsouth.net.
