Andrew McIntire of 1850's Lexington, Holmes County, Missisippi; is likely the same as Kenansville, North Carolina, merchant Andrew McIntire who wed Wilmington, N.C., Miss Sarah Julia James; daughter of Joshua and Hetty-Bella Sage James, Sr., of Wilmington; who also removed from Wilmington to Richlands, Holmes County, Miss. I descend Andrew's brother-in-law, 1850's Holmes Co., Miss., militia LtCol Robert Wm. James; born Wilmington 1811; removed from Holmes Co. to New Orleans; died Biloxi, Miss., 1882; where his son, Capt. Harry Copp James, was a ship's pilot and Biloxi harbormaster (d. 1923).
