Since the above posting, we have discovered more information about Margaret Brown McIntire. Margaret's maiden name seems to have been Margaret Samuels, and she married Benjamin Brown in Nelson County Kentucky on 15 Nov 1804. In addition, we found Margaret, aged 68 years, (born in Kentucky), in the 1850 census, living with her son, John W. McIntire and his wife Harriett Lavender and their children.
I apologize sincerely for referring to the 1810 federal census of Harrison County Indiana as "reconstructed". I am told that the original census was discovered in the courthouse in Corydon, and that's what is now published.
We are always happy to cooperate and share information with others who are researching the Browns of Harrison County Indiana.
