I am looking for information on James McIntire who was a Captain & chaplain in the Civil War. He was a college graduate & minister and he was probably in his 50's by the time the Civil War began. He came from South Dakota pioneers but joined the war from Illinois. I would appreciate any information anyone can give on James and his family.
