Dear Jan,
I don't know if there is a connection, but my ggrandmother was a Frances McIntire and she had a sister by the name of Elizabeth McInitre. I have her being born in Seal Township, Pike County, OHio. She married a Moses Tidd married December 3, 1849 Parents were William McIntire and Jean Kirk. William had a second wife by the name of Susan Seibert. I don't know if this will help or not.

Sincerely

Roger Warren
