I question that three McIntire daughters married three Emery brothers. However, Martha McIntire married Omri W Emery and Diantha McIntire married George R Emery. Brothers married sisters and there were about 25 children in the two families. Most remained in Winneshiek Co. Iowa but several of Omri's chldren went to Canada. The Emery family are descendants of John Emery of Romsey Hants, England, and this McIntire family I believe descends from James MacIntire who died at the Battle of Denton, Scotland.
