Has anyone been able to correctly determine where in Scotland Micum was born? IGI records are only what "Patrons" have given and there is nothing with a Source. Other info I have read said Micum was a highland Scot but history from the time of the Battle of Dunbar states that David Leslie's men were comprised of lowland Scots. Would anyone have further info on this that might help me to determine what area of Scotland Micum might have come from? I am quite certain that my own ancester Engram MOODIE who was also on the ship UNITY with Micum and the others, was either from the Fife area or Perth area of Scotland. Engram MOODIE whose last name was changed to be spelled MOODY when he was working at Saugus Iron Works, is one I have not been able to find much info on at all. Would anyone here have any suggestions as to where I might write or search for info on these men. I have contacted the Scots Charitable Society but no one has answered me yet. Would anyone have an Address for them where I might write a letter instead of the email I sent to them? My family is heavily intertwined with these Scot families...McIntire, Grant, Taylor, Bean (McBean), McDonald (which in my family was later shortened to Donnell), and on and on the list goes. If anyone can offer suggestions or help I would be most greatful. Thank You. Notify Administrator about this message?
