I'm not sure we are talking about the same William McIntire.
About the only thing I know about the one I am talking about is his service at the battle of San Jacinto.
His brother was Thomas McIntire who was also there.
After William was killed by Indians, his wife remarried and later divorced. She moved to Salt Lake City, Utah.
