I have a book titled GENEALOGIES OF MARION COUNTY FAMILIES 1811- 1900 IN THIS BOOK IS THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION.
ELVIRA DULCENA "DULCY' MCENTIRE born Pyatt 1869. married 30 Dec. 1888 to James M. "Jim"
Tippit (son of James & Martha Jane 9Maynard) Tippit b. 1868 died & buried in Marian Co, Ark.
In 1905 they lived at Eros while working for Walter Milum.(MY HUSBAND WAS BORN NEAR EROS.)
ELVIRA'S PARENTS ARE: Lorenzo & Lucretia (Patton ) McEntire
Lorenzo was born in Rutherford Co., NC 29 July 1828 died in Pyatt (Ark.?)30 Oct. 1913 buried Patton Cemetery. Married Lucretia Patton (daughter of Miles S. & Susannah (Milum) Patton. born Hickman Co., Tenn. 27 Feb 1839 died Pyatt 07 Aug 1885 buried Patton Cemetery. They lived in Blythe Township 1890-1900.
Lorenzo's Parents were: John & Elizabeth (Wiley) McEntire.
John was born in NC 1783 married Elizabeth Wiley b. SC 1791, In 1860 Elizabeth is living with M. & Mary (McEntire Tippit in Blythe Township. John is either father of brother of Champion McEntire
