my father was born in and all my fathers family are still living in Bartow county. We are traced back to James McEntire and his son Jeremiah E. McEntire living in bartow county in 1850 & 1860. then Jeremiah is living in Gordon county in 1870 with his new wife Sarah Elizabeth Stone! does your half sister have an email or is she researching the family as well? would love to share all our information with each other......also, there is an Obediah McEntire living with them, maybe by chance in your line??? we are trying to place him with who he may a brother to James or cousin. this we are unsure. James McEntire married Mary green we belive somewhere in GA!
feel free to email me if youd like and compare i know that we are related...but how?
