I am looking into my paternal side of the family Mcintyre. I live in S.C but my fathers people are from North Carolina, New York, Virginia etc...My Father side is very mixed. Indian, African American and Anglo. My Great Grandfather was Dude Henry Logan on one side and Joseph Mcintyre, Sr on the other no relation between the two gentlemen mention above these are just my fathers grandfathers on either side of the spectrum. Also one of my fathers uncle was definitely Cherokee Indian he had an Indian name I believe it was Crete and Crete sister was name Nan. They all should be from Rutherford N.c or Polk Co. North Carolina. Dude Logan was said to be white but he could have just been "passing" as white. Any help would be appreciated
