1785 Shipwreck,"Faithful Steward": James McEntire

James McEntire and his father (also named James McEntire) were survivors of the wreck of the Faithful Steward, Sept 2, 1785, off Mohoba bank, Delaware. Hundreds of people perished in the wreck.

Some of the places in PENNSYLVANIA associated with this McEntire family are: Crawford County, Greenwood Township, Conneaut Lake, Evansburg, Meadville and Geneva.

I am looking for a copy of the narration of the event, as published in the "Meadville Courier" (PA?), August 30, 1831.

Another, earlier reference would be in the "Londonderry Journal" (N.IRELAND), dated November 15, 1785.

If anyone has access to these two old newspapers, I would like to hear about it and get copies. BBC (N. Ireland) recently had a program about this shipwreck....
