I am writing this for my husband, Philip Letellier, who is Albert Lee McEntire's grandson. We are researching the McEntire's for my mother-in-law, Eva Louise McEntire (Blecka). My husband's great grandfather was Ernest Franklin McEntire. My mother-in-law says he had a bunch of half-brothers and there is one sister (at least on my list) who were all McEntire's: SW, Vernon, Dick, Suff, Coy, Cleve, Lawrence, Wafford and the sister, Marie. Eva said that her great grandfather's name, who would be Ernest McEntire's father, who is a half-brother to SW, might be Daniel McEntire? They are all from around the Wise County area of Texas. Ernest Franklin McEntire was born about 1888 in Arkansas and married in Chillicothe to Alice Alfretta Langston in Wise County, Texas, 1904. He died in 1962.

We have just started researching, and got the list of names from Eva, who got the names from her mother, Bertha McEntire (Smith), a few years ago. I don't know if they are accurate or not. Maybe you can help us, too. We think that Daniel remarried after he had Ernest McEntire. Eva said she had seen a picture of her father, Albert Lee McEntire with SW McEntire. We live here in California.

Hope this helps. I tried to email you this information, but it was returned. My email is Susie1957@mscomm.com.

Sue
