Nobody lived in Utah until 1847. That's the date the first pioneers arrived. The McEntire's arrived sometime after 1860. John Alexander is my gggrandfather. I see Janis is going to send you some info on the McEntire's in Utah. I think the word confusing is an understatement. Good luck and if I can help let me know.
