I am trying to locate the adoptive parents of Alvin Henry McAninch born on Oct 12, 1847 in Ridgeway, PA. His death certificate lists his father as a Stephen Minor and his mother as ? Crow. He was adopted by a McAninch family. He married Susan E. Milliron of Ringold, PA. They had 6 children. Henry Burdette McAninch, born Oct. 4, 1869, Mary Etta McAninch born Aug. 14, 1871, William Orval McAninch born Mar. 26, 1874, Maude Della McAninch born Dec. 22, 1876, Annie Belle McAninch (my grandmother) born Jan. 27, 1886 and Blanch McAninch born May 11, 1889. I have no information on this branch of my family other than the material I found in my grandmother's memoirs. Does anyone recognize any of these individuals? My grandmother was from the Brookville area and was married in Oak Ridge, PA. to Walter John Davis. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Pat Olshansky
