Looking for grandfather Zeb Vance Mayberry, b. Alexander Co. NC, Abt. 1861,d. early 1950's, m. Addie Lenoir Hayes who had family ties to Ashe and Watauga Co. The Mayberry name was changed somewhere along the way from Mabry to Mabrey. Not sure by whom or why.
I'm sure somewhere there is a clue for me to grasp. Would appreciate any help from the kinfolks that are out there or someone who might have families that might have known of my grandparents.
