There were several families that migrated from what was then Buncombe County aka Yancey to Union County Georgia. Our William Hunsucker THOMAS and his wife Nancy Willis (can't find her parents in old Buncombe but am narrowing down the contenders) and the SPARKS - Harden and Elizabeth Sparks were married in Yancey - Elilzabeth was the THOMASes oldest daughter. John and Martha HENSLEY, the THOMASes second daughter. John HENSLEY was the son of Berry Hensley and his wife Elizabeth LITTLETON.
Joseph and wife Naomi Emmilissi HAYES Thomas. Naomi was the daughter of Alphen and Marth HARRISON HAYES. They came to Union County with the DAVENPORTS, John and his wife Anna Lewis DAVENPORT. Later Billy THOMAS'daughter Adeline married their son David DAVENPORT. Son William married Charity Louisa SELF daughte of Robert and Martha Jane COOK SELF.
Daughter of Billy Thomas named Cyntha(Cynthia) married first Norman ISAAKS and had a daughter before he went off to the Civil War, after which she married Edley F. BEAVER the son of Ausbern and Keziah LAND Beaver... they also were from Yancey as were most all the surnames I've listed.
Billy Thomas' daughter Catherine married John HAYES who was Alphen Hayes' son. He died in the Civil War and we don't see that Catherine ever remarried.
Daughter of Billy Thomas named Caroline who was Adeline's twin married Garrett Calloway son of William and Mary CALLOWAY (spelled several ways on various records)
Youngest son Willis Thomas married twice, first to Mary Amanda McENTIRE who we haven't found anything on either she died in 1873, second to Emma TAYLOR.
John McDaniel Thomas - married 3 times first to Elizabeth WILLIS, second to Roseanna McINTIRE and third to Lucindy BEAVER.
Have found Roseanna listed with her parents on the 1860 Union County Georgia census records. The family is as follows:
J. McIntire aged 60 (b. 1800 N.C.)
Polly (Mary) McIntire aged 45 (hmmm, 1st wife?) also b. N.C.
Martha E.P. aged 23 b. N.C.
Lucinda E. aged 22 b. N.C.
Emily C. aged 18 b. N.C.
Nancy Ann aged 16 b. N.C.
Rosanna aged 15 b. N.C.
Celia J. aged 10 b. TN.
Sarah T. aged 9 b. TN.
Jesse R. aged 7 b. TN.
Polly A. aged 5 b. GA.
John W.D. aged 1 b. GA.

At this point this is all I have... thanks for asking, Leslie
