Hello. I'm trying to solve a mystery and get beyond my brick wall. My Grandfather Benjamin Daniel Harmon was born in l902. I'm told possible in OH, IN, IL. I saw the Daniel listed in your post and just had to try as I'm leaving no stone unturned.
My Benjamin Daniel, I'm told, changed his name from Macintyre to Harmon for what ever reason I don't know. I can only assume possible reasons for change of names.
I was just given this information by an elderly relative today. I've been searching for Ben F. Harmon forever and cannot find any past for him. I know he lived in Cincinnati until l965 when he retired to moved to Florida.
He died in l974 and anyone else with information has passed away. Do you know of anyone in your family bn in l902, brother, sister, aunt, anyone.
Will appreciate any advice or information.
