Looking for more information regarding the McEntires that came from North Carolina to Georgia. Our John McDaniel Thomas known as Mack Thomas married Roseanna McEntire/McIntyre on the grave stone. She was born about 1847 and according to census information in North Carolina. Mack Thomas was previously married to Elizabeth Willis who died possibly about 1872. Mack and Elizabeth had three children William, Cornelius and Martha. Mack and Roseanna had four children Allifarin, John, William (assume 1st child named William died) and Sylvania Thomas. Mack and both wives are buried at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery in Union County Georgia overlooking Nottely Lake (built in 1942). Don't find any information on prior census records regarding McEntire(any spelling) so assume that Mack traveled out of the county to find Roseanna. Anyone have a Roseanna as a child in their data? The Thomas family came from Yancey North Carolina. Leslie
