I am searching for information regarding the parents of
Alice Carey MacIntyre (born 1855 Kentucky).
She married in 1874 to John A. Broughten (born 1845, Noble, Illinois).
They moved to Marysville, Kansas where John Broughten was an Attorney at Law.
The 1880 Census for Kansas, Marshall County, lists Alice as being born in Kentucky, as well as her mother and father.
There is also a niece visiting, Amy Thomas, age 14, who was also born in Kentucky as were her parents.
If these MacIntyre (McIntyre) and Thomas families of Kentucky look familiar to anyone, please respond to this post.
