Looking to uncover other brothers of and confirm the father of a John McCauley [ b. 1820 / d. 1858 ]married Elizabeth Castle [ b. 1820 / d. 1886 ] both are buried in Congressional Cemetery, Washington D.C. Think family may have migrated to Wash. DC area from PA. Know of a William M McCauley [ b. unknown d. Feb. 13, 1859 ] married to an Elizabeth [ b. unknown / d. Feb. 15, 1864 ] Wm. & Eliz. are buried next to John. Possible brother is a Charles Stewart McCauley. If so, parents would then be John and Sarah married abt.1790. Cannot confirm yet. Oral history speaks of an uncle commanding a navy yard at the time of the civil War. This could be Charles. Other family names included in history going forward are; Dougherty / Power / Given / King / Breeze / Nott
