searching for parents of Alexander MacAulay 1865-1912

I'm searching for the parents of Alexander MacAulay b Dec 1865 Nova Scotia and d. abt Dec 1912. He married Catherine MacAulay. (MacAulay is her maiden name). I'm also searching for her parents. She was also born in Nova Scotia Jul 1871 and d. 1968. They had 13 children: Jane, George, John, Margaret, Isabel, Alexander, Florence, Aulay, Wilfred, Sydney James, Nina, Donald and Catherine.

Any information on parents of either Alexander or Catherine would be great!
