Grace MacAskill (1785-1874) and her husband Alexander MacDonald (1775-1843)from Assynt, Rosshire, entered Cape Breton in 1803 and finally settled in Black River, Glenelg Parish, Northumberland County, NB. Does anyone know anything about the parents of Grace and Alexander?
