Lauchlin appears at Cow Bay,NS, in the census 1871-91,
Elsie and family in 1881-91.
The 1891 children are Murdoch 15, John Malcolm 13,Elsie 11,Katie A 8,Mary 6, Sarah J 4, and Christie 2
Not sure about my notes but I think in 1871 he is in a family headed by Mary Widow b 1812, Donald b 1836, Ann b 1841 and Laughlan b 1845. All b Scotland except Laughlin. Allan Blair
