Wasn't Hannibal Hawkins MacArthur's (1788-1861) wife Anna Maria King (1793-1852), the daughter of Philip Gidley King (1758-1808), third Governor of New South Wales? I believe G. F. M. was George Fairfowl MacArthur. My very distant connection is through Ph. G. King's first partner, Ann Inett. Dennis.
