I don't know if anyone has replied to your
question abt. the relationship of CHRISTOPH
MAIBUS to one time Gov. of Ms., so I can say
definitely that CHRISTOPH was RAY"S ancestor.
My Wife was also a descendant of CHRISTOPH.
CHRISTOPH MAIBUS came into the U.S. at Charleston S. C. in 1833 with two sons RHINEHART & EUSTACE. RAY MABUS was a descendant of JOHANN RHINEHART MABUS, born in
1817 in the state of HESSE. I hope this is of
some value to you.
