I'm not sure if you are still looking for more info on the Mabins. The one my grandmother married moved to Kansas. They had twin girls. His name may have been John but it would have been a Jr. There was a John born in 1864 and my grandmother was born in 1868-1870 which ever of the census you use. So the time frame would be about right. I do have a picture of one of the girls that was born in 1886 in Kansas. She looks to be of a darker race not sure which one. Email at wisemother50@yahoo.com
