There was a William Mabin, b. abt 1755 in Guilford Co., NC. His third wife was Charity Marley, b Mar 29, 1779, Orange Co., NC, d. Feb 9, 1860, Yazoo Co., Miss. He was married Dec 19, 1800, Orange Co. NC. William d. 1825 in Natches Dist, Adams Co., Miss. He had 12 children, including Warren I., Robert M., & Thomas S. William's father was William Mebane, Jr, b. 1728 in PA. and his mother was Mary Nelson. His father was William, Sr, b. UNK in Norhern Ireland. I am descended from William, Jr.
