Cannot help you but you may wish to know that the name MABB is of some age. There was (according to IGI) a John Mabb born in Eastbourne Sussex England in about 1538 His children were
Robert b 15.6.1551
Elizabeth b. 17 Nov 1563
Nycholas b 22 May 1566
Lawrence b 31 Aug 1567
William b 18 April 1569.
John's presumed siblings were
Richard Mabb or Mabbe b abt 1540 m Mary Lucy 24 Nov 1566
Phillip(a) Mabbe b abt 1544 m Richard Parson 29 Oct 1564
Denys Mabb b abt 1549
Robert Mabb b abt 1559.
All above were Eastbourne events.
My own line seems to be rooted in Chichester Sussex Mabb/Mabbe/Mabbs namely:
John Mabb or Mabbe who was a church warden in 1593/4/5 and died in 1604 (widow was Agnes) in Rumboldswyke Chichester
He was possible born about 1560 in same area.
Many mre Mabb Mabbe Mabbs were in this areas and some along the coast between Eastbourne and Chichester in later years.
