Pete, I'm also interested in the Moucks. My gggrandmother was Jane Mouck(1813-1896) married to William McMurray. Jane's sister, Emily(1828-1894) was married to William's younger brother Hervey McMurray. They lived around St Clair and later moved to Peters Township (McMurray) I believe they also had sisters Isabel, Sarah and Elizabeth. We have some letters where William Mouck is mentioned and Uncle John Mouck but we don't know what the relationship is. Mary Mouck appears in the 1850 census for Peters Township with Elizabeth, Emily and Isabel. I don't know if she is the mother or another relative. I read on the Historic Pgh site that a John mouck married Nancy Philips and moved to McKeesport. He was a cabitnet maker and funeral director. Does any of this fit with your research? We would love to connect with someone from the Mouck side of the family! Shirley
